Daily life of a Poker Affiliate

The daily life of a poker affiliate consists of maintaining poker sites, link building, forums, blogging, digging for poker news, poker domain buying, site advertising, social networking, and dealing with poker affiliate managing. Not to mention
hiring writers, programmers, and script sites, but I think that falls under maintaining poker sites. This can weigh just as heavily on your life as playing poker 10 hours a day. Being a poker affiliate can have it’s rewards though, like when you have passive recursive income coming in all the time. You could actually just quit one day and if you have enough players
playing online, you might still make 1k a month doing absolutely nothing! One of the biggest pains in the but is when your affiliate managers change tracking codes with short notice and you have to go into a bunch of your sites and make sure they are all right. Or another pain is when your players get busted for cheating and you are penalized from their rake. But all in all I enjoy the poker affiliate business and hope to turn my readers into successful marketers.

Outsource your programming for less.

Being a poker affiliate can be lucrative over the long term and if you already enjoy poker, it’ll make promoting poker sites a lot more fun. To be successful you need to enjoy what you are doing. I think people who love poker make perfect poker affiliates because they will enjoy running a poker site or blog and can promote the poker affiliate programs. Poker Players can network through poker forums, social networking sites, etc. which will benefit the poker affiliate. Success doesn’t happen over night but with a little bit of work you can turn a nice income being a poker affiliate.
