2010 November Nine final table
The WSOP Main Event final table, or November Nine, begins play in Las Vegas on Saturday. While many stories focus on the chip leader Jonathan Duhamel and pro Michael Mizrachi, there are big stacks that deserve attention. Let’s take a look at them right now.
“Relentless aggression” was how John Dolan’s style of play was described heading into the final table. Dolan starts the final table with 46.25 Million, which is 2nd in chips. He has over $1 Million in tournament earnings between his live and online play. Prior to making the final table of the Main Event, he made the final table of one of the $1,000 Events at the WSOP but fell short of the bracelet. He looks forward to taking the next step and taking the largest prize in poker.
Joseph Cheong will start the final table 3rd in chips with 23.525 Million. Cheong holds two degrees from the University of California at San Diego and has been playing fulltime since he graduated last year. He won his first WSOP Circuit ring back in April and now hopes to fulfill the circuit’s slogan of “First the ring, and then the bracelet.” He took down a WPT preliminary event just recently and finished 2nd in the High Rollers Event at the EPT London.
Full Tilt red pro John Racener starts the final table with 19,050,000 in chips and sits 4th overall in chips. Racener is a former WSOP Circuit Main Event winner and has made four WSOP final tables for his career. The last came during the recent WSOP Europe where he made the final of the 5,000 GBP Pot Limit Omaha Event. He has about $1.2 Million in earnings heading into this final table.
