It is most important that you keep up to date with your affiliate tracking codes and links. If you fail to place the correct tracking code on your link, you will not get credit from the poker affiliate manager of the poker room that you are working for. Right now on this site my link to Absolute poker affiliate landing page is not working. On that page they have a link to the site but I’m not getting credit for it. So essentially I could be losing out on hundreds or thousands of dollars. I should have the matter fixed after the holiday. This happened to me because of the buyouts and all the crap that’s happening in the online poker world. Companies are buying each other out and sending other companies their players. So be sure to test your links by signing up dummy phantom players to ensure the the poker room is giving you credit for your poker affiliate sign-ups. Another good thing to do is ask your players or sub-affiliates how much they have been playing or how many sign-ups they have if they are your sub-affiliate. You may also give a friend some money (let’s say 50$) to play a poker room of your choice that he’s not already on. Have him goto your site, sign up via a banner, and then deposit the money and start playing. Then check back in you affiliate client and see if you are being credited for his play. If you are not being credited, email your affiliate manager right away and see what the issue is.
