Sometimes you can take something that is working in the non-poker market and take it and use it for your advantage to link bait and drive traffic to you site. Now, this is the most professional way to drive traffic, but it works.
The corrupt governor Beshear of Kentucky has initiated a battle against the online poker rooms and casino to take their domain names. His long time partner and friend is affiliated with the race tracks of Kentucky and they have the fix in to battle online poker rooms. They claim that online poker rooms are hurting their business and revenue from the state. I say they have no jurisdiction and this is part of much bigger conspiracy to derail and then take over the online poker rooms. This is just like the bill being past to ban online casinos UIGEA. That was perpetrated by the new owners of Harrahs - Texas Pacific Group and the Apollo group who own Phoenix online college.

For those of you who are just getting started in the poker affiliate business, I’m starting a new poker affiliate site for poker marketing. This site will be for new affiliates and old hands alike. The point of the forum is not to compete with other affiliate forums, but to offer forums that they don’t. Yes there will have to be some similar sections, but I have some new and exciting ideas to help poker affiliates. The

When I look at the posts on poker affiliate forums, it seems as though I’m 1 year to 1 1/2 years ahead of the rest as far as poker website development goes. I have plans right now that are way beyond anything they’re even talking about, but economy is bad and I’m afraid to put up the money. But then again people don’t really post their good ideas so that nobody steals them, but I think I have pretty good idea of where I’m at. I also suffer still from my sites leaving USA market over a year ago. I lost big on that! But that opened me up to the poker domain market where I make most of my cash. On the other hand, I’m really behind on site maintenance, updates, and crap like that. Hopefully I can get my sites in perfect working order and get the ball rolling again!
Jeremy Enke and I have worked things out in PM’s. What we talk about is private and don’t want to talk about it. I can say that he has a tough job navigating through a minefield of people’s opinions.
Jeremy and I are very much opposite except for our drive to make money. Jeremy is more mature mentally than I am when it comes to dealing with people.
You never know, I may even be his sub affiliate or player from years ago. Who knows?
I also want to say that the forum I want to do has nothing to do with fighting. It has to do with the sales threads and mods.
I would also like to state that the forum I’m doing really doesn’t cover the sections that PAP
does. It is poker marketing in general. However, there will be link, site, and content sales section. I’m trying to make it as original as possible. The forum is also not is response to Ladies thread on paid sections. I had pm’d someone on PAP the night before she posted
about this. And if I do paid membership it’s because of spammers on my high stakes forum.
But Cathy did have great idea! Dnforum is paid membership and is very successful.
I decided to call the forum Pokermarketingforum.com because it is more about marketing
than the affiliate side. I just don’t like running forums so I really would like to do co-op
but retain 20% interest in ownership.
