1.) Think about a good relevant poker domain name. Try to choose one that doesn’t have more than 2 words in it. Try to get a .com first. I have a .org.uk because I’m trying to appeal to the UK and Euro market. Dot coms get higher on the search engines. Buy it at Godaddy.com.

2.) Create a poker website.

3.) Use social media to promote your website.

Social Networking sites like Myspace, social bookmarking sites like Digg, and viral video sites like youtube.

4.) Create RSS syndication via Feedburner.

5.) Create a newsletter. Create email campaigns on your own and once your user base grows use Godaddy.

6.) Start an online advertising campaign. Use Adbrite and other sites to grow your poker traffic and poker conversions.

7.) Buy links from other poker sites for your site. Use sites such as Text Link Ads
to get poker related sites to link to your poker site.

8.) Become actively involved in forums. Two Plus Two, Pocket 5’s, and other poker related forums. Once you join you get a link on your profile. Use this to link to your main poker site.

9.) Throw freeroll tournaments live and online. Offer people than sign up under you a buy-in to your freeroll. Make sure they sign up via your poker banner with your poker tracking code in it.
