Freepokerbook.net is the first review in a series of poker books for free or free poker gifts sites that I’m going to review. I’m starting to become friends with the gentleman who owns the site and can tell you hes a class act. The site has a special Cardoza Bonus: currently they offer one of the highest deposit bonuses online: the 200% bonus. This is released in $5 increments, every 400 points you acquire.
Upon first glance I notice Freepokerbook.net has excellent web 2.0 design,

Freepokerbook.net is an awards program that gives free poker books or gift certificate to players that sign up under them. To receive the book you must get a certain number of player points, then take a screen shot and send it in to them. The site makes money in the long run from players that don’t meet the
requirements or from revenue share. This is a great way for a poker affiliate to make money.
One of the things that confused me was that I got a little lost on the site when I went to the blog. I couldn’t get back to the main site, but maybe it’s just late. But the blog definitely looks different from the main template. The only other criticism I have is it has link to template website, but I’m always guilty of that myself.
The poker blog has even better design that the site in my opinion:

I think he maybe should have done the whole site on Wordpress like he did the blog. At any rate
the owner of this site is doing an excellent job at trying to capture this niche of poker sites that give away gifts. Think if he goes to Wordpress for the whole site, he will get to page one for his term.
Whats really good about the way he has his blog set up is that he can write reviews for dozens of poker books. When he gets to the top of Google for those search terms, he can capitalize on getting
people who were just looking to buy a book to sign up to his site. Most of the hits will come from poker noobs who are looking to learn. This is great for the poker affiliate! This means a possible conversion.
I would rate Freepokerbook.net a 7.5 out of ten.
Outsource your programming for less.
