There is so much negative posting going on in poker forums its ridiculous. These doom and gloom reports inspired me to start searching traffic stats for major poker rooms and poker sites. I have yet to look at table traffic from the major rooms, but can say that traffic is down to the actual URLS except for Full Tilt Poker which has some big spikes before a decline.

It’s really hard to say what the impact of the economy is going to have on poker and poker marketing in the long run. I can tell you that I know some friends of mine that needed work months ago and asked me how they can make money. I gave them several suggestions of how to make money writing content for sites. They made minimal effort to get off their buts, and are in the same predicament
they were in before. They could of started writing for me or someone on digital point and made up to $100.00 or more a day writing. But no, they just continue to complain about how they can’t get a job….
